Were there for our own defense because we know that Islamic countrys have a high chance of breeding terrorists and people that will take the fight to US. The war was a mistake though. All we need to do is cut the rogue countrys out of the world market. With the exception of oil at least.. Why dont we just buy out 2 or 3 or 4 massive oil reserves and have high gas prices for a few years to pay it off. After that, its back to normal.. It would be a good idea if it were possible.
