Posted April 15, 200619 yr I'm a total nublet to VB and any programming language for that matter, but I wanted to know about creating hacks. I'm taking a course on programming, but my teacher is a numb nuts who stuck to the business side and doesn't know diddly squat about the gaming side of programming. I don't quite understand how you make an exe file to edit another one. Do you run the hack in the upper memory of the other program or something close to that? I'm totally confused on this one but I'm looking for a starting place to learn about it.
April 16, 200619 yr You can do what that guy said, but it's pretty useless unless you know the basics. But vb isn't really used nowadays for cheats (For the newer games anyways.), people usually use C++ because, generally, it's easy and has alot of power when used properly. I'm not saying the vb isn't good/powerful, just that C++ is used more often.
