How do I ban someone with RCON, sometimes the server I choose doesn't have mani.

 

If it does have mani is it just: Rcon ma_ban "name"

Join a server, change your name into this ";rcon_password hi;sv_cheats 1"

So, enter this into console: name ";rcon_password hi;sv_cheats 1"

 

Wait 10 seconds and type rcon_password hi (if you want to, you can change the rcon password so others can't login), and execute all mani commands with rcon placed before it. Like rcon ma_slay #all

 

If you're admin on a server, it would look like: rcon hostname "niglet"

I've gotten the name ";rcon_password xxx;sv_cheats 1" stuff to work, but I'm supposed to be able to take over the server, and it's not working. Of course I followed the directions:

log in with that tag,

rcon_password xxx (and rcon rcon_password xxx, tho I dont know the difference)

sometimes i enter a new password too..

anyway, then I try "rcon ma_timebomb #all" or something, and it doesn't work. Anyone know why this is?
