Posted April 23, 200619 yr high there today i managed to get my banned account working again on VAC2 servers and no the verification servers were not down. will explain what i did. I logged in to my banned account and copy the ClientRegistry.blob to somwhere... Then i created i new account with almost the same name and same password and email. example : banned account : name= cs1 pass= ****steam new account : name= cs2 pass= ****steam I logged in to my new account and copy the ClientRegistry.blob to somwhere... now exit steam open the ClientRegistry.blob from the NEW account with ClientRegistry Toolkit and go to TopKey/_Users/cs2 push edit key string and copy the key open the ClientRegistry.blob from the BANNED account with ClientRegistry Toolkit and go to TopKey/_Users/cs1 push edit key string and paste the key and then RENAME TopKey/_Users/cs1 to TopKey/_Users/cs2 Save the new ClientRegistry.blob to the steam dir and start steam with the new account. now u will c your new account have the games from the banned account installed and in settings u will see VAC status : in good standing Voila u can now play again on all servers! Wel i can, so i hope it will work for u guys http://www.mpcforum.com/showthread.php?t=132721 It works, I'm not lying try it yourself.

April 23, 200619 yr OK this is all well and good for you newbs that manage to get your accounts banned but I was thinking, if you got an account that's still 'In good standing' and did this process with it, would you have the games on the original account and the games on the new account? Because that could be pretty useful.

April 23, 200619 yr Author This turned out to be crap, you have to do all this bullshit everytime you connect to steam, and most of times I get a steamID error (some other times it worked though). meh.

April 24, 200619 yr Or you could just not cheat in the first place. On second thought, no. That is not a viable option.
April 24, 200619 yr Noob question, after i convert it to xml what can i use to edit it? Steam Registry toolkit only allows me to convert it into xml.
