April 27, 200619 yr I like the naked man running around. I dont care about this topic, Your sig wins the thread. btw, Pretty cool
April 27, 200619 yr I take back what I said, before viewing this clip, I was listening to Freebird and the change made it seem boring, as I watch it again, this video really shows how the band was very talented.
April 27, 200619 yr Author I prefer Hendrix's set. This is pretty boring. I like Santana, but shit, I dont even see him playing for like 5 minutes. I like his new stuff alot more. Better tone and shit. I agree, hendrix's set was much more impressive guitar wise, however I like how he let the other members of the group jam out some. You should get the Woodstock DVD (if you don't allready own it), it's what this was ripped from, and the rest is also win.

Yes Santana's jam section was amazing, no doubt. After all his influenece in music was deeply about the groove which was more based on the percussion. He looks so young, he must of been what, 20? I have no idea. I'll check out that DVD, I am doing my History project on Woodstock '69 so I need some clips of basically everyone playing there. How is the CCR section of it? I love CCR as well.
April 27, 200619 yr Just for the record, he was 22. Absolutely amazing player for such a young age. I've always been a fan of the 'woman-tone' of the SG, just has such a warm feeling.
