Posted April 28, 200619 yr I'm currently with Telewest (Blueyonder) Broadband and it sucks. The downstream speed is impressive for my area, but the upstream is more pathetic that a bus full of gay football players. Can anyone recommend a good ISP, except for Freedom2Surf?

August 8, 200618 yr hey I'm on telewest too and I've been looking to change as well. getting Sky soon so I dont need telewest anymore. I was looking at broadband from talk talk or something a month ago... you get 8 meg broadband free with a telephone line (40 GB limit).... not bad I guess... but I dont know any better. have you checked out bulldog broadband. you can get a 16 meg downstream with 1 meg upstream, unlimited usage for £24.50 a month. but they dont service all areas in britain. http://www.bulldogbroadband.com/residential/products/broadband/index.asp
August 16, 200618 yr Tiscali are good. Most people bash them but tbh I can't really complain. I was getting 2meg speeds while paying for 1meg so they're not that bad :P

August 16, 200618 yr well im an idiot and i hav eno idea if they have charter over there but thats what i have and its quite amazing but i doubt the UK has it :/ we also have comcast here but comcast is awful
