I download music too but the only music I download is from bands that don't need the money. I support my Artists like Steve Vai, Eric Sardinas, ect. Steve Vai owns his own company "Favored Nations" and signs people like Eric Sardinas. If I didn't pay then I would contribute to killing my favorite thing. Music. Examples of downloads I do...

Robert Johnson

Son House

Zeppelin

Skynyrd

Blah blah blah, first two are dead, next one isn't together anymore and living members have plenty of money and Skynyrd has only two members still alive. k? <3

I have a job, I just have better things to spend my money on than overpriced cd's. I download up to 4 albums a day. That's roughly 48$ retail. Why would I ever spend that much money when I can get said music for free just as easily? Oh, and your support the band argument only serves to make you sound like more of a ***got. I don't torrent the t-shirts(13$) or the concert tickets(60$ average).

But anyways, have fun wasting your money. I for one am very impressed that you have such a high-paying(probably minimum wage)job, so keep up the good work!

I make 40-60 dollars a day? I guess you never lived on a airforce base. : )

im not wasting 20 bucks on a cd i could spend on something else.

maybe the concept had not crossed your mind you could be buying better things.

Like what? I like listening to music? Not many good Cd's come out, so I buy like a new one every other week. It's no big deal. I have plenty of spending money.

Audiostarr practically none of the money from the album sales goes to the band anyway, its the concerts that they get the cash from.

Bitlord for albums, imesh for single tracks.

I like to support my bands for a small amount like 12 dollars.

i support my bands for about a buck...http://www.mp3search.ru ftw 1 buck for a whole album

None of the links that site gives works. None. 0%.

You pay them to pirate music for you? As long as you're going to illegally download music, you might as well cut out the middleman.
meh Torrentspy for cd's but if i like it i will go out and buy the cd to support the bands, if you make good music its like a prize for the band hah

too lazy to search for music on p2p programs its just easier for me to get it from them

http://www.amazon.com

Buy your cd's you poor piece of shit.

I do buy my cd's, but I buy most of them used. I'd like to support the bands, but I'm sure has hell not going to support that wonderful association [RIAA] that sues 12 year olds, college students, dead people, and people that don't use computers for alleged file sharing.

Well that's your problem. I buy cd's that most money goes to the artist. I said that allready. Usually big bands are signed onto those retarded contracts that they get hardly any money for. The guys I listen to produce their own stuff. Either that or they are on a contract on which a good portion of cd sales go to their wallets because concerts are a problem. B.B King for instance needs cd money to stick around, but he also sells out shows. It's just good to know who your supporting, and I looked into it.
