Posted May 1, 200619 yr Anyone know what the hell win486E.tmp.exe, win482.tmp.exe are? I've just found them and they've showed up after a Spyware Doctor scan and they're averaging around 11-12K in memory usage. I've used process identifying sites and even googled this shit and came up with nothing. Help would be great.
May 1, 200619 yr Go in the MSCONFIG (Start, run, type in msconfig) and uncheck them from start up. The names should be varient to the process.

May 2, 200619 yr Author Shit, I don't know. I put exactly what you did and never got anything until now. I was probably fucked up or something at the time. Or Google.
May 2, 200619 yr just use some good spyware removal on it like spybot sd or adware se and youre problem should be fixed. DO you have a virusscan running too? that would help in determining what prog the process runs.
