A while back, like maybe a year or two ago there was a tut posted about a packet sniffer that allowed you to join a server and when a rcon password was typed in it would collect the data and then you could search the packets for the password. Does anyone know/remember what the program was used to do this with?

I guess you could use wpe pro? (Winsock packet editor)

 

But you'll most likely have to get a hex decyrpter to decyrpt the password as it comes into the packets, unless it isn't encrypted, obviously.
