I'd probably have to call the cable company, right? Or is there something I can do or fix to stop this annoyance? My modem keeps reconnecting or something (I'm on cable) seemingly unprovoked. MSN signs on and off constantly. This just started happening recently. The only other thing was that I noticed my speed slowed as well. It's wierd. I had a solid 1000+kb per second, now it's only around 300 kb.

More details, is your computer conected wirelessly?

It's your USB settings I bet, When I had my Wireless card pluged in, It would do what your modem would do. It would dissconnect and reconnect every 2 secconds, make shure you have the modem pluged in the right USB port, if you have any other USB ports, well take the cable out and plug it into the other USB ports.

 

Like I said, it's a power problem probably.

have you checked the drivers for your network card.
