August 17, 200618 yr Cool, what does your friend do, Marine/Army? Also, what was that Iraqi shot with? Honestly, i'm not sure what kind of .50 cal it was. He is a cavalry scout (Army), and it wasn't his kill, he just took the pic, it was someone from his platoon or whatever that got the kill. He uses the standard m16a2 last I heard but he was really promoted to sergeant so I don't know if that got him a different weapon or not, but he said when you get in firefights, its not like the movies. If you asked him if he killed anyone, he would say he doesn't know, because you have 10-12 people shooting at only a few guys, so you don't know who actually hits him/them. Accept for maybe whoever took that sniper shot. That was pretty deliberate.
