Posted February 6, 200421 yr to save memory sometimes i shut down the Explorer.exe process, this time some funny shit happend. After I shut it down i played some warcraft, when i finished gaming I restarted explorer. I opened a folder with random shit in it and the folder view was changed to Thumbnails from Details (happens sometimes). The funny shit is one of the subfolders' tile was of a porn movie i had 7 months ago that was long ago deleted... This raises questions on what XP keeps in cache that you don't know about.
February 6, 200421 yr someone just posted something about windows and how it caches shit that you delete. it was an article from 2001 or somethin
February 6, 200421 yr Author that article was 3 years old, this happend now, today. Even after clearing/rebuilding the icon cache the little thumbnail is there.

February 7, 200421 yr Sez it all in the EULA for XP, techno...it flat states MS reserves the right to monitor your system, and information on it, through the OS, and "invalidate" the whole OS if they feel you are doing anything "unacceptable" which, to the best of my knowledge, means "if you install our OS on your machine, we reserve the right to take control of that machine at will, to observe any and everything it is used for, to report said information to anyone we chose, for whatever reason we choose, and to crash the OS permenantly, rendering the machine useless, for any reason we see fit"

Knowing that millions of people myself click the agree button letting them own us is pretty cool.
February 7, 200421 yr htf do you launch a game after shutting down explorer...everything goes away...or do you do it JUST after you launched the game? Or during the game?
February 7, 200421 yr htf do you launch a game after shutting down explorer...everything goes away...or do you do it JUST after you launched the game? Or during the game? Another weird thing about big companies spying on you, I'm sure system_error can elaborate, since it happened to him not me. He was dloading a bunch of songs, and for some reason he typed in his ip address into iexplorer, and this showed up: http://sg.hl2src.com/untitled1.jpg omgorsh RIAA ready to make a bust? edit: lol actually I bet he ran sdbot or something, and someone made an ftp out of his ip.
February 7, 200421 yr htf do you launch a game after shutting down explorer...everything goes away...or do you do it JUST after you launched the game? Or during the game? the run command is there for a reason faggot run <programpath\sp0rkeh.exe>
February 7, 200421 yr go to regedit, and under HKEY_CURRENT_USER_Software_Microsoft_Windows_CurrentVersion_Run, enter CMD.EXE, and command line will boot every time windows does...after that, you can remove explorer from the boot process freely, and restart it at will by typing "explorer" in the "DOS box" anyhow, if you want to kill explorer, to save on resources, or end spyware, you have to have any executables you wish to run on the same drive, since cmd.exe refuses to recognize other partitions conventionally...once you've taken care of this minor setback, it's simple enough to end task/processes and kill explorer, and run from command line to run any apps you like.

February 7, 200421 yr yeah...but half these guys wouldn't understand what you meant, and the other half are glaring at my post, thinking "will you shut the fuck up, n00b?"
