Posted August 17, 200618 yr I would like to have NO dark corners, I mean the dark areas at for example the CT-Spawn on dust2 or so sould be lighten up. I already tried gl_monolights 1 but there's a big problem with nades and flashlights: If I use flashlight or trow a HE nade while using "gl_monolights 1", the textures will be reset again to the normal brightness. August 18, 200618 yr Instead of "gl_monolights 1" try it with "lightgamma 0". I havn't actually tested it so if it doesn't do what you want I can go find / test some more methods.

Try setting them both in the console, config, and userconfig. So have gl_monolights and lightgamma at 1.
August 20, 200618 yr Author Er, no. Playing 1.6 without nades would be like mastrubating to goatse. And I can't tell all guys on the server not to use nades though.
