August 18, 200618 yr Wrx is nice, the sti is also nice, but this thread is about mini's and vw's, i like both cars.... but i think id take the gti... more room then the mini
August 18, 200618 yr ataraxia;368736']If you'd like to re-read my post, you'd realize I stated the regular WRX is shitty, not the STI. Develop some comprehension skills, then return when you can use them. so what other cars are better?
August 19, 200618 yr Author Doesn't matter anymore. Went to both dealerships and fell in love with the Mini. Just deciding on a color now. Either black with chrome accents or something very similar to this... http://img244.imageshack.us/img244/45/833vi6.jpg
August 19, 200618 yr GTi Minis are for queers on the plus side neither is gaysian so thats a bonus Last time I checked cars didnt have a sexual preference, nor would I consider the Sti a shitty car. What other AWD turbocharged cars besides the evo VIII are out there? If you compare the StI to anything else besides the evo VIII its apples and oranges....theres like a trillion. every single porsche is the first example that comes to mind.
August 19, 200618 yr get the black one. And find me where you can get a 4 rotor engine... That would be a fun car...
August 20, 200618 yr lol noisey rice.... want a real jap car? 4 rotor RX7 or... Supra.. or my fav the Skyline GTR Cool got yourself a hefty 80k for the 4 rotor rx7 or 25k for the supra? or 50k for the skyline? Also fgt it's unpractical to use 4 rotors.
August 22, 200618 yr He clearly doesn't want a japanese car, which is fine, and it would appear he wants a new car, not a 10+yr old crx. I also believe he doesn't want to swap in a motor and turbo it, after he spent XXX much money fixing the car. I've driven every year of the GTi, and the only two worth buying are the mkII (1985-1992) and the mkV (current). But you don't want a mkII because they aren't new. So between the cooper S and the GTi, honestly, i would take the cooper S. I've driven a cooper S and all the GTi's, and i just prefer the mini. Of course i enjoy small, unpractical vehicles. Although according to road and track the GTi is the 'better' car: http://www.roadandtrack.com/article.asp?section_id=31&article_id=3370&page_number=6
August 22, 200618 yr good find on that. As far as performance goes, it loses by next to nothing. (198.2 vs the GTI's 198.4). Hell, the only reason a civic can compare is because it's cheap. I'd still take the mini over the GTI, and definitely take either over the civic.
