August 26, 200618 yr that doesnt make sense so girls under 18 are just going to have to have the baby, get an abortion, etc... while girls 18+ can get the pill, even though they would be more likely to be able to help support a child Logicly it doesn't. But, I can tell you why it's like that, because the religious right wanted it that way. Even so, they didin't want it out there in the first place because it would 'encourage people to have sex'.
