Here's me thinking all virus makers have 6-packs and 10 inch dicks.

I mean for christ's sake, look at this nubbin:

That's supposed to be a guy, guys.

hahaha, that's fucking sad..

They look like fucking abnormal fucks. No wonder they are "master virus coders" they probably have a lower self esteem than a guy who gets ass raped in public by a midget.

He attempted suicide, he said, by walking out one frigid winter night into a nearby forest for five hours with no jacket on.

these guys are hardcore. lol

When the Mydoom.A e-mail virus struck in late January, it spread even faster than Sobig.F; at its peak, experts estimated, one out of every five e-mail messages was a copy of Mydoom.A. It also carried a nasty payload: it reprogrammed victim computers to attack the Web site of SCO, a software firm vilified by geeks in the ''open source'' software community.

I love how they talk about the losers of life as heroes almost and then connect a negative connotation to people that do nothing productive to the community at large who, in actuality, are the same as the formerly mentioned people. Reporting at its best.

You know why "Mario" likes to be friendly? Yeah, because he doesn't have any actual friends. His girlfriend weighs upwards of 150lbs and is probably around 5'3" and is using him for the money his parents have.

Writing code for a virus isn't hard, even sp0rk can do it. The fact that these people go to the NYTimes in order to self-glorify theirself is proof that they, indeed, have no friends.

i wonder what sp0rk looks like.

I bet $10 hes hot as fuck

i bet sp0rk resembles one of those guys
OldManPeterson']

The 3 pics they show of virus makers look very gay.

guys....coding ANY sort of "real" program isn't as easy as you'd think.

And it's a far cry from using a developer's SDK that already HAS game information, including notes telling you exactly what each line is, and what it does, then using that info to base a "hack" program on to coding an original virus.

Let's face it, MS does NOT share its code, period. Much less advertise "undisclosed" vulnerabilities. This means virus coders have to know enough to FIND the vulnerability, which is often harder than the coding that follows, THEN they have to develop code that can take advantage of the vulnerability they've found...and, if they want it to NOT get caught instantly by antivirus programs, they have to do it in a whole new way.

Learning to do this from scratch is indeed, a bona-fide talent, that takes EXTENSIVE knowledge in how the computer functions, how the OS functions, and programming. Most "professionals" start with an enthusiasm for computers...in a few years, they start taking serious classes...where they spend at least a year formally, learning the OS as well as a viral coder has to, and another year learning the hardware (yes, yes, I know, any moron can BUILD a computer in today's plug and play world...but how many of you know WHAT 32 bit architechture means? How exactly does RAM work? what is the difference betwenn an ISA and a VISA slot, and the card that goes in it? A viral coder MUST know this stuff, and how it works, and why). THEN a professional spends 4 years chasing a B.S. in comp sci...and he STILL doesn't know alot of the stuff a viral coder must/will know.

The point of all this diatribe is this: in order to be a real "malware" writer, you have to squash about 8 years of formal education information into your spare time, self-guided, and self-motivated, just because you have an interest in coding stuff that "warps" the rules of a system...it's NOT something "any idiot can do"...and the youngsters that DO dedicate themselves to computers to this extent pretty much HAVE to be socially maladjusted to begin with, in order to HAVE the time it takes to dedicate oneself enough to GET to the point they can do what they do...of course they're geeks and faggots....anyone with a real social life to begin with generally has neither motivation nor time to learn the specifically applied knowledge it takes to GET to that point.

Oh, and NWA..."even sp0rkey can write one"...first off...could YOU have written sp0rkeh? I don't give a fuck if you could pay someone else to write it, or better, for you...you're still PAYING SOMEONE ELSE specifically because YOU CAN'T...if you're so goddamned smart, and so much better a person, then why do you need to buy services or product from them? Because YOU can't do it yourself....dunno about you, but my attitude is not to look down on ANYONE who can do something I can not...I might need their services someday. Second off, just so you know, sp0rkeh is NOT a virus (it IS "malware", however), but it IS a rather well designed little program...I know professionals with literally years in the field of programming who can't code as directly or neatly as he did...my own comp sci prof actually used it as an example of "clean" code, as opposed to MS's typical "spaghetti code", when I first got into formal programming classes..which was my introduction to g0t, about two years back.

Why are you so raged? Did they put widdle Psycho's picture in the article? Boohoo, I made fun of your faggot ass and/or your faggot ass friends.

You realize sp0rk did it while he was bored, right? And that what it ORIGINALLY did was much more simple than what it does now. Please, don't talk if you don't know what you're talking about. The original sp0rkeh took about as much skill to code as is contained in a paraplegic trying to type with his flaccid cock.

Oh, and my attitude is to completely look down on these socially inept people because, while they have a skill, they are using it to further their own means while isolating theirself from society at a larger scale than they were before.

Define malware. Define virus. As you'll see, malware isn't even a fucking word so don't go off spouting that they mean different things. Malware, when deconstructed using its latin etymology you get bad (mal) article (ware). The definition of a virus is (according to Webster) a computer program usually hidden within another seemingly innocuous program that produces copies of itself and inserts them into other programs and that usually performs a malicious action (as destroying data). Please tell me what the difference is? Maybe your comp. sci. prof. told you about that too? Smart ass.

PS - I could have wrote sp0rkeh, I just never had the drive or imagination. Shit, even t0y could have wrote the original sp0rkeh.

I wasn't referring to original sp0rkeh...and from the sounds of your original post, neither were you.

No, I had nothing to do with the article, nor am I raged, nor, to the best of my knowledge, did I SOUND raged. A bit tired of your supercilious ass slamming people who do things YOU can't because "you could pay someone to do it"...well, partner, if you piss off the guy you gotta pay to do something, he does a half-assed job, or totally fucks it up, just to get back at you...and you won't have a clue he did until it doesn't work the way you expected, because he has knowledge you don't.

I'll admit that in SOME circumstances, I could give a fuck less if some person I otherwise consider a total moron has knowledge I don't...for instance, I haven't a clue how to run a deep fat frier, so the idiot at Mickey D's can make fries "right", and I can't...however, I CAN run down to Wendy's down the street, if I piss of McD's employees...or just buy soe O'Ridas, and bake them...but I'm the LAST fucker who's going to talk down to an HVAC certified repairman...I may be able to do my own plumbing and electrical work, if I piss off the guys my homeowners insurance authorize, but if my AC breaks, I'm screwed if I do...besides, I'd RATHER pay someone to crawl around under my house fixing shit if a pipe breaks, than do it myself.

And MOST viral coders do it because they're "bored"...as I said, it's understandable they don't have much of a social life, and are regarded as "losers" by most of conventional society...it's a self-enforcing loop.

When I used the word "malware" I put it in quotes, every time...it's a jargon term, and belongs as one...but to define, it means "destructive software"...and "virus" conventially means "self-propagating destructive software"...though, as time goes on, that definition fits less and less, in regards to computer virii.

Also...as far as those "socially inept people"...I assume from former posts you've made, deriding programmers in general as "dime a dozen" types you buy at your convenience, you regard ALL programmers as such? THAT is what I was attacking. Viral coders may be socially maladjusted, misdirected idnividuals, but it STILL takes both talent, and knowledge to do it...not to mention a dedicated interest...when's the last time YOU were interested enough in a subject to make yourself learn the equivalent of 6+ years of "college level" information without any structured guidance?

:gaykeke:

Bud what are you talking about?

sp0rkeh is simple and i highly doubt sp0rk even went as far as to write the entire thing himself. I bet he just pieced together code snippets that are available all over the net. NWA is right.

I realize sp0rkeh is simple...it's hardly "new code", and as one of the viral coders in the article was quoted "it doesn't take much to code a couple lines that makes a program format a drive" (paraphrased), or similarly, to make it delete selected files, or remove regkeys...

However, however simple the program is, it was VERY neatly and compactly coded (at least the version that I was introduced to), and, as such, deserves props for THAT much, at least.

PsychoBud']I wasn't referring to original sp0rkeh...and from the sounds of your original post' date=' neither were you.[/quote']

I said "even sp0rk can do it." I never mentioned sp0rkeh, although it was implied. So you are, technically, correct. I wasn't talking about sp0rkeh at all. However, as posts do not have sound I'm going to have to say that you just used your oh-so-great inductive reasoning (which doesn't surpass the calculus level, which can be used as a guidemark to intelligence usually because almost all colleges require at least calc2) to read between the lines.

PsychoBud']No' date=' I had nothing to do with the article, nor am I raged, nor, to the best of my knowledge, did I SOUND raged. Again, posts have no sound. And you DID seem raged. I'll pick out the two main phrases that make you look raged:

  1. don't give a fuck if you could pay someone else to write it
  2. for you...you're still PAYING SOMEONE ELSE specifically because YOU CAN'T...

I never mentioned paying anyone to do it. I've never said I'd pay someome to do something for me. If I care enough to spend money I'll go take a class. Oh, and congratulations on finding webster.com's thesaurus function. If I need something done for me I ask the person to do it for me. If it doesn't work then I say fuck it and A) don't do it or B) learn to do it myself.

PsychoBud']I'll admit that in SOME circumstances' date=' I could give a fuck less if some person I otherwise consider a total moron has knowledge I don't...for instance, I haven't a clue how to run a deep fat frier, so the idiot at Mickey D's can make fries "right", and I can't...however, I CAN run down to Wendy's down the street, if I piss of McD's employees...or just buy soe O'Ridas, and bake them...but I'm the LAST fucker who's going to talk down to an HVAC certified repairman...I may be able to do my own plumbing and electrical work, if I piss off the guys my homeowners insurance authorize, but if my AC breaks, I'm screwed if I do...besides, I'd RATHER pay someone to crawl around under my house fixing shit if a pipe breaks, than do it myself.[/quote']

Wait, you're saying you are God? Who the fuck are you to distinguish who is a moron and isn't? Stop looking down on everyone!!11 :hsnono: :hsnono:

Quit being a hypocritical ass. That McD's employee just might be your next employer or HVAC repairman. The kid who runs the deep fryer at McD's is already smarter than you are because he knows how to turn a dial to put it on COOK.

PsychoBud']And MOST viral coders do it because they're "bored"...as I said' date=' it's understandable they don't have much of a social life, and are regarded as "losers" by most of conventional society...it's a self-enforcing loop.[/quote']

Yes, they're losers for a reason: they code instead of buying fly pants at The Gap!

These people are losers because of their superior attitudes and inferior intellects usually. Any idiot with the drive can do the shit these people do and usually in half the time. Most "viral coders" are fucking idiots in everything except coding because they've never spent the time it takes to build up skills besides coding. Again, look at sp0rk (JUST KIDDING I <3 U SP0RKEH).

PsychoBud']When I used the word "malware" I put it in quotes' date=' every time...it's a jargon term, and belongs as one...but to define, it means "destructive software"...and "virus" conventially means "self-propagating destructive software"...though, as time goes on, that definition fits less and less, in regards to computer virii.[/quote']

Look at my definition from Webster (the site you abuse for your seemingly intellectual zazz words). Tell me how a virus isn't malware and how, conversely, malware isn't a virus. Almost all computer programs that perform malicious actions have been named "virus" by every media source. If you're going to start claiming jargon to avoid talking about shit you don't know about then it is time to just stop arguing because I can jargon your ass to hell with jargon you've never heard of that doesn't apply to computers directly but still apply indirectly. There's a reason you don't use jargon to make a point when arguing: nobody gives a fuck about jargon.

PsychoBud']Also...as far as those "socially inept people"...I assume from former posts you've made' date=' deriding programmers in general as "dime a dozen" types you buy at your convenience, you regard ALL programmers as such? Programmers make money. People that code virii don't. That's the difference. Do you see it? Hold down shift and hit 4. You can have all the drive in the world to learn 6+ years of "college level" shit in the world but it doesn't change the fact that if you cram that into less than 4 years then you're a social outcast that isn't making any money from what you do.

If this is you then go flip a burger because you'll never have the English, math, or science skills to get into anything but a community college until you're over 24.

I've got some more compact code that your comp. sci. prof. can use for non-"spaghetti" code:

PRINT "HELLO WORLD"
END

Why do you fuckers type novels in threads online. I refuse to read that shit.
I read it to see how much I can understand. It is funny to see them saying something really stupid in one thread, then bust out their little intelligence to try and impress people in the other. I am talking more about nwa, look at his sig ffs.
