I have some conservative beliefs (And I'm embarassed of the bush administration as well) and liberal beliefs because I was raised on them. I'm sure as soon as I reach the voting age (4 more months) as it comes up I'll start reading more into the parties and choose which one will be the best for our country, not what party they are.

Nicely put, I personally was one of those "LAWLZ I AM LIBERALZZZ" people until I actually begin to read about the political views of the right and left. In my opinion, I wouldn't say that there are many politicians that do a good job of representing their respected parties and this leads to alot of the confusion. Personally, I am a libertarian. P.S. Why? 1) They're not a bunch of brain-washed Christian freaks. 2) They're more into humanitarian stuff. 3) They're more diverse (which is what America is about) 4) They care more about science and expanding our knowledge (evolution and stem cell research) 5) They actually know when the President is violating the Constitution. 6) They're not out of touch with global and domestic events. (Bush denies seeing any major problems in Iraq, Katrina). and last but not least.... 7) Democrats used the A-Bomb on the ****. And yes, I vote.
