Posted September 6, 200618 yr I have been playing on my friends computer and am going to get CS: Source for my computer once I get DSL. How do steam accounts work? Can I use the new steam account on my computer? and login my steam on his computer? Or is it restricted to ip addresses and limits where you can play your steam_id from? Thanks in advance guys.

Is it possible to play on my friends computer2, by changing the steamid2 with my steamid1 from computer1? Or once you install the game thats the only steamID you could use on that computer?
September 6, 200618 yr Steam IDs and regular accounts in general aren't bound to computers in any way. So, if you make an accound at your friends house, you can play at your house from then on with no problems.
