I agree with EricDaRed, make sure you tell the police about your missing .45, you wouldn't want some gun-crimes coming your way. Another thing, have you ever thought about putting up a CCTV system in your house? You could rig up the recorders to your attic just in case it happens again, you'll have a face to go by (They're not all bright enough to wear masks) You also might want to invest some money into a ADT system, I've heard that they work really well, and I'm sure it'll cut down on your robberies. Especially if you have a big sign in your front yard "Protected by ADT security systems" Then right underneath it "I'm armed"
