find out the maker and model of your mother board go thier site and enter "suport" search the model of your board and in the drivers section find the sound drivers.

Try this, click on Start and select Control Panel. In the Control Panel, click on System, then click on the Hardware tab (the 3rd one). Then click on Device Manager. When it opens look for anything with a yellow question mark. Right click on it and click on update driver. When Windows asks you "Can Windows connect to Windows Update to search for software?" select "Yes, this time only" and then click on next. Then when it asks you "What do you want the wizard to do?" select "Install the software automatically (Recommended) " and then click next.

It will most likely find the right drivers for your sound card. If it doesn't try and google the name of the thing with the yellow question mark on it in Device Manager.

Good luck.

Btw do I really get a steam account if this works? lol

quoted for truth

model number on the motherboard, then you can find the drivers online.
if you bought ur pc from someone like dell or ibm, they will have the drivers for you

That made me laugh. How the fuck else do you think you will get your drivers? Out of a fucking gum ball machine?

And for that matter, who DO you trust here?

Or instead you can do this, Go into Device managers, go to sound drivers, uninstall your mane diver, no listen if it says restart hit no, no reinstall the dirver, if it says restart click yes. i do this all the time guz my sound card is SHIT!

the device manager is where it's all at g.

get'cho self some bling at the driver update sites fo shizzle ma nigga, yo be bangin and maccin in no time.

google your model number off your mobo it should get you the site of the maker/spec sheet site thing for your board where they will have drivers for on board sound. If that doesnt work buy a 15 dollar sound card. :D
