ok well i made a few Demos and i want to play them in a diffarant format how does insane do this?

For some reason I assume they're CS demos or something of the like. If so, just Frap the demos and render them in a video editting program (If you don't have any just ask me, I can show you a few easy ones).

yeah i dont have any thing like that and yes i did mean CSS and HL2

To capture the video i'm sure almost everyone is going to suggest Fraps.

 

As for rendering the video i'd suggest VirtualDub or MediaCoder for little projects. (If you need / have something easier just tell me.)

 

You could just as easily use Window Movie Maker too though.

 

All this stuff is free, except Fraps which might need a little something to get it going.

you can convert half life .dem files into avis but its a bitch and i cant remember what software but fraps is the best way
