Posted September 24, 200618 yr i have the HP vs17e 17 inch LCD moniter. after a bit the moniter changes solid colors red blue green black white ect. i dont want it to be like a screen saver and ive been looking everywhere. i dont have my screensaver on at all. how do ifix this.

September 25, 200618 yr I take it that if you jiggle the mouse the desktop (or whatever) comes back on the display? (dumb question, but you didn't mention it) Seems like the monitor isn't getting a signal and is running a diagnostic (like most new ones do) I would have to side with power saving or some shit like that tho. Check your power profile and make sure that the setting of when to shut the monitor off is never. (you may have already done this)
