Supposedly the fbi got a warrent and totally shut them down. This was posted by sx not to long ago.

Our Hub and services IRCd shells were hosted on the Foonet Datacenter backbone, which was shut down by the FBI yesterday. fbi take down an ircnetwork just because of one hacker. wonder how many $$$ will go into the takedown and sorting of terrabytes of data just because some script kiddy defaced somebodys comp or a site he shouldnt of...
