Ok I have a Q&A

 

1.How do u get VAC banned? Pussy Admins who tell VAC?

 

2. If i get VACed, can i play other games like HL2 or HL1? (thats if i was bann for CSS)

 

3. Can you lose you steam accout if you get VACed?

 

4.VAC2 off real exsits? AND WORKS?

ill do my best to explain but some of these guys probably have a better answer.

 

1. You get vac baned once vac detects some sort of cheats runing etc, but its not instant it can take usualy up to a week, Noone usualy pays attention to the little guys who whine to valve/vac/steam.

 

2.When you get vac baned you cant play any multiplayer games (as far as i know) only singleplayer games (IE. Hl2, Hlf2:ep 1, etc)

 

3. You dont loose your steam account they just give you a handicap :)

 

4. As far as i know Vac2 is alive and kicking :), This is known because they have raised the ban levels for vac2 from vac1, vac1 was a 1 year ban, vac2 is a 6 year ban :\

1) When you connect to any vac secure server, vac will automatically scan your system to detect known signatures of hacks. It checks to see if there is anything which is running which will write to the original hl2.exe file. It will check if you have modified game core files. It could check to see if you are using dodgy drivers for your videocard to render things differently. With that said, vac has to know what its looking for before its able to find it.

 

2)Like dill said you can 100% play any single player games. IVE HERD RUMOURS that you CAN play different games if your ban from CSS, so i THINK you might be able to play DOD if you got a vac ban from css. IM NOT SURE. But valve recomends that if you do get vac ban, that all future games you buy be activated on a new account.

 

3)Nope. Mere restriction applies, once again like dill said. If you do something illegal though they will disable your account i.e use generated keys, keep testing random cdkeys etc.

 

4)Dunno, dont care. wont take valve long to fix it and then maybe move to vac3 with a 22 year ban on your game :lmfao:

2: you get banned from any games on the same engine you hacked on. If you hacked on CSS you cant play DoDS or HL2 DM, but u can play cs 1.6 n dod 1.3. you can still play single player aswell.

1.) A ban can only occur if VAC detects your hack. Demos/reports cannot get you banned.

 

2.) if you get banned on css you can only still play hl1 engine games. (ie: cs1.6; dod 1.6)

Same applies if you get banned from 1.6 you can still play hl2 engine games.

 

3.) No you cannot.

 

4.) Yes it does exist and it works. It is private software so don't go asking around for it without expecting to be sp0rked.

The steam forums have a VAC banned section, in every thread nearly, it says once you are vac2 banned you are NEVER unbanned. VAC1 bans could last from 1 year to 5.

All VAC bans are permanent - Valve has a zero-tolerance policy for cheaters.

 

Definition of permanent

continuing or enduring without marked change in status or condition or place; "permanent secretary to the president"; "permanent address"; "literature of permanent value"

 

What this means? You get ban, ur games access is gone.
