October 15, 200618 yr Guitar, I'm a fan of 7-string and baritone guitars. I would like to play bass but I havn't found one I really like yet. I currently am still learning on my 7-string though. I have Dean Markly Blue Steel Med-7 strings on it detuned one step. I need new pickups for it but i'm unsure on what to get. I want something that can handle all that low end without turning to mud. Has anyone tried the "Invader" pickups?

However, i'm not one of those ***gots who are like "OMG LOOK AT ME I CAN PLAY SWEET CHILD OF MINE AND BOULEVARD OF ***GOT DREAMS AMICOOLYET?" I love acoustic music, and play for fun, not for attention whoring like so many do these days. For example, my friend saw a kid trying to show off with *** greengay songs and my friend walked up to him and asked him if he could play anything a little less show-boy and he looked at my friend's nirvana shirt and said "omg I can't wait to see nirvana again", fucking wannabes.
October 15, 200618 yr I play the guitar too. And ya i hate those people who only use it to show off. I have 3 acoustic guitars, and one of them i can plug it into a amp and make it electric. Also i just got a harmonica. And my parents are getting a piano, so once we get that ill try and learn to play that too.

I do play drums at college (jazz) and i spin records everynow and then, i love to scratch. But drums are my main insturment.
October 15, 200618 yr Jazz is m3n ^^ Yep, I've been doing it for 5 years. Its a lot of fun, even more so when your band is all a bunch of crazy good people. blues/death metal guitar, classical french horn, jazz trumpet. Wow.. what a contrast.. What kind of trumpet do you own?
