Inline spell checking: A new built-in spell checker enables users to quickly check the spelling of text entered into Web forms (like this one) without having to use a separate application.

i don't know if there is a compat version for 2.0 yet, prob will be in next few days. mine hasnt really slowed down at all though

do this in firefox if its slowing down for you. If this is old fill the rest of the post w/ kitty pics.

1.Type "about:config" into the address bar and hit return. Scroll down and look for the following entries:

network.http.pipelining network.http.proxy.pipelining network.http.pipelining.maxrequests

Normally the browser will make one request to a web page at a time. When you enable pipelining it will make several at once, which really speeds up page loading.

2. Alter the entries as follows:

Set "network.http.pipelining" to "true"

Set "network.http.proxy.pipelining" to "true"

Set "network.http.pipelining.maxrequests" to some number like 30. This means it will make 30 requests at once.

3. Lastly right-click anywhere and select New-> Integer. Name it "nglayout.initialpaint.delay" and set its value to "0". This value is the amount of time the browser waits before it acts on information it receives.

i kinda still have the same problem, slow at loading when i first click but w/e i can deal with it

How can it be going slow? You mean when you open firefox the first time or surfing?

If its going slow, make it load firefox.exe on bootup. That'll clearup any issues with speed. If firefox is always running, it'll be instant all the time.

By the way, if MS removed their validation check, maybe someone would start using it.

there are versions that you can download without it, if anyone wants it PM me

just asking, why is this needed? i like my current firefox just fine...not so many usful features then the last imo
