Hello! I'm George Orwell and I'm from the Chicagoland Area. I will be keeping track of the Chicago Bears astouding progress this season in this thread. Keep an eye out! You can also discuss other football topics here. Keep it clean folks! Da' Bears!

Current Record: 7-0-0

PF(Points Scored): 221 (1st)

PA(Points Allowed): 69 (1st)

Game 1: Chicago Bears @ Green Bay Packers

Result: Win 26-0

A tottally terrific shutout of long time rival Green Bay. A foreshadowing of the amazing feats that Chicago's #1 defense will show this season.

Game 2: Chicago Bears vs. Detroit Lions

Result: Win 34-7

The Bears carried their shutout streak to 1.5 games, as they allowed a Lion's touchdown in the secolnd half, but Grossman's Magic Arm led the Bears to a 27 point lead over the league's worst team.

Game 3: Chicago Bears @ Minnesota Vikings

Result: Win 19-16

Bear's Quarterback Rex Grossman was having an offnight, throwing a few intereceptions, but made up for it with a 24 yard touchdown pass within the last 2 minutes. This game marked the Bear's ability to beat real teams and work under pressure.

Game 4: Chicago Bears vs. Seattle Seahawks

Result: Win 37-6

A combination of great passing and excellent rushing led the Bears to a dominating victory over the touchdown-deprived Seahawks.

Game 5: Chicago Bears vs Buffalo Bills

Result: Win 40-7

A complete slaughter of the New York team, depriving them of any score until late in the 4th quarter. Thie past two games showed that the Bears have an extreme advantage at Soldier Field, winning by over 30 points in each game.

Game 6: Chicago Bears @ Arizona Cardinals

Result: Win 24-23

An accident prone 1st Half almost guaranteed the Bears a nation-wide embarrassment on Monday night Football. Grossman started the game by throwing long, but way to long for his receiver to catch. This was only followed by a countless number of interceptions and fumbles leading the Cardinals to control the game by 20. The Bears gave a mere field goal. In the 2nd Half the Bear's defense came up with a new strategy: keep the ball away from Grossman. Urlacher, Briggs, Brown and the gang worked hard for 2 defensive touchdowns and an 83 yard punt return by Hester to win the game 24-23.

Bye Week: Hopefully Grossman is being occupied with getting his passing game in shape.

Game 7: Chicago Bears vs. San Francisco 49ers

Result: Win 41-10

A complete shutout of San Francisco in the first half, as well as a much improved Rex Grossmen led the Bears to this very impressive victory. Skeptics predicted that the Bears would win a narrow victory because of their near loss on Monday night, but they were proved wrong as the Bears tied the record for the most points scored in the first half in franchise history. They went scoreless in the second half and even allowed a touchdown by the 49ers, but still resulted in a complete annihilation of their opponents. The Bears show that they can win decisively at home, but the real test lies the week after next in New York.

Game 8: Chicago Bears vs. Miami Dolphins

Pre Game Notes: If the Bears go into this game undefeated, it will place great pressure on them. The only team the 1985 Bears lost to were the Miami Dolphins. The Dolphins were also the only team to go undefeated and win the Super Bowl.

Result:

Game 9: Chicago Bears @ New York Giants

Pre Game Notes: This game marks the beginning of a 3 away game series in the New England region.

Result:

Game 10: Chicago Bears @ New York Jets

Result:

Game 11: Chicago Bears @ New England Patriots

Result:

Game 12: Chicago Bears vs. Minnesota Vikings

Result:

Game 13: Chicago Bears @ St. Louis Rams

Game 14: Chicago Bears vs. Tampa Bay Bucaneers

Game 15: Chicago Bears @ Detroit Lions

Game 16: Chicago Bears vs. Green Bay Packers
