I think the problem is im behind a firewall at college. Does anyone know how to fix this or know how to edit the ports for bittorrent? also, post what sites u get ur torrents from (such as suprnova.org)
February 23, 200421 yr do save as for the torrent link... put the torrent file on your hard drive, open it from there.

February 23, 200421 yr Author nimrod']lol techno u fagbrain. try to tunnel the default bittorrent port to something the router doesnt block. like 80. hey nim thanks for the advice. i know changing the port would work, but there is nothin i can open to change the port. how do u "tunnel the default port"? thanks for your help!
February 24, 200421 yr well, depends on what ports the router blocks. if it lets 1080 through, this would be perfect. u could use "socks-chain" (or similar), get a list of public socks and tunnel the bittorrent default port. if it also blocks socks proxys, ur bit boned. u could use "http-tunnel". its a freeware tool with a register option. unless u register ur bandwidth is limited for their servers to something like 2 kb/s. not enough for filesharing =) (i used that from school to reach ircds). getting a real serial is hard to find though :/ (i guess u dont want to pay ^^). if u have good bandwidth at home and a flatrate, u can set up a http-tunnel server urself, and connect from school. this would be like the second examples, thus u use ur own server at home instead of the ones from the http-tunnel company. hope this helps. later
