Some of the posts in little Johnny Winthrop's thread got me to thinking. Wtf am I going to do for a career? I'm failing each of my classes exept English but I'm prty good with computers :D:D:D

So. If I cant get a job doing something good then I will just try to start a business with someone that go around charging people to put av's / firewall on their pc.

I have a good GPA, this year is 4.1, but my accumalative sucks because I didn't do anything Freshman year because they decided to change it up and have Freshman year at the middle school so I was like fuck this.

I have always and still do want to become a commercial pilot. But seeing since how that field is kind of shaky now I'd like to have a solid ground IT foundation.

Find something you love doing and be motivated, and driven to suceed
Your Skills:

- English

- IT

Your future career path:

- Journalism

I'm in the same boat, just not failing any classes. Really, just having your degree is what counts. My dad's degree is in accounting, and he is a systems manager in NC. Runs maintenance on the network, client database, backups, etc. IT plus accounting plus business education = many possibilities. Same with everything else.

the more people that understand this the better: 90% of us have no fucking idea what we are going to do for a career... it seems to me that most people don't figure out what they want to do until year 2-3 in college
i'd like to go for music theory + composition + teaching as majors, minor in english and business. that way if i fuck up one thing i have 2 backups. realistically i'd like to teach a class in music in high school because it's the sort of thing where 90% of the kids in it would want to be in it, or own a small venue/bar just for the sake of spreading good music and beer.
how do i be a freemason

lol.

I've always been pushed into doing what im doing. Origionally architecture was where i was going. But i managed to get escape from that path (8 years at UNI, HELLO DEBT!)

Think what you would like to drive, think where you would like to live, think kinda lifesytle you want your family to have. And fucking make it work. Set your aim high. And fuckin do it.

Setup shop in a slum and be a bum.

You'll get that job without having to interview or having to work hard. You just need to find a tin can and beg for change.
