Posted November 8, 200618 yr First point : Im only doing this for a test. I understand that alot of your view phishing with a bad opinion on it. But i just wanna give it a shot. Firstly, some other gimp on the forums, mentioned Phishing steam accounts, by forging emails. Copying the steam site source code.. and making it your own. Now when i seem to do this, dreamweaver just aint using the externel http imgs and links etc.. Also, its the same for any site, i havent had time to look into methods of phishing, quickly browsed for guides, found fuck all.. So if anyone here has done it before. Give a few pointers. I dont really care if ppl write "uninstall dreamweaver.exe" coz i normally find that funny. Worst thing is someone is gonna do that now. Just to be gay. So any links to sites/guides/tools.. pls link all day. Thanks.
November 8, 200618 yr If you look in the source code the image links may be to say.. /image/image.jpg That is assuming the images folder is in the root directory. You need to put the full path in (i.e from /images/image.jpg to http://www.phishurl.com/images/image.jpg OR if your testing in dreamweaver the path to the images on your local drives (e.g. C:\phishsite\images\image.jpg)) There aren't too many methods though. email, IM'ing, phone, web pages are the most common ones. You just have to work out how you are going to carry out each one. Before you try any of these I suggest you visit some security websites and read tutorials, join forums and IRC channels. Don't bother just downloading apps etc and using them willy nilly, you will get your ass caught. http://www.hackthissite.org has many great articles and do the challenges too if you like but if you do the challenges you may think that "hacking" is exactly like each challenge. I say their account information has been lost because of a turn-table virus (No there is no such thing) There are bound to be 1 or 2 gullible people who belive it Get there info, or if they ask "are you really a Steam Worker?" Be like of course you need to have security protocol measures to get Steam in your name. THen they try it, figure out they can't do it. Then they give the info, tell them they can change their password in 48 hours Go the next day when they are off change their shit. Congrat. I just got one with $70 worth the shit lol.
