November 9, 200618 yr Author Thread Update - The Democrats now control the House of Representatives and the Senate, gaining more seats than were projected by many sources. This definitely shows the people's disapproval of the war and other Bush policies; if Bush doesn't change his schema, the Democrats may win the 2008 Presidential elections as well.

Yaaay demoratz ftw. i wouldnt say bush fucked it up as bad as the republican congress did, for example; earmark spending was outrageous, lack of care about our mexican border situation, scandle after scandle and the lack of care to fight back on the scandle ( i.e. foley technicly did nothing illegal just weird), bigger government, spending in general. a recent poll shows that most people for some reason think that the democrats will lower taxes, and make smaller government. so techniclly the people were voting for the same principles that regan and newt fought so hard for in the 80's and early 90's.... congress got what they deserved and honestly if they dont care to fix it ill be happy to watch the democrats try their best.
