Does anyone know of any good resources where I could find comprehensive instructions on how to rewire old console controllers to make them USB and then use them in an emulator? I'm going to try and rewire a Genesis controller so I can play ROMs on my computer, seeing as how my Sega broke a long time ago.

4 seconds of Google. Great site if you have some cash.

EDIT: I can try and find it for free if you want (That's what I'm guessing you want).

Yea, I'm not looking to spend any money, I want a project to do. Otherwise if I wanted to spend money I would've just gone to lik-sang.com... too bad they got shut down :(

Good luck with that project. It sounds challenging. I own one of the rare Adaptiods for N64 to USB, and its a great toy. I had two, but sold one on ebay for $125.00.

I'm thinking that I'm going to have to learn how to rewire things the hard way then.

rewireing it is the fun part. i rewired a xbox controler to be usb before the 360 was out, but thre was a comprehensive set of instructions out there.
