Is it possible to organize how you download? What i mean by that is, like when your downloading stuff (a movie for instance), it downloads random bits and pieces until its complete... is it possible to organize them to download in an order, so you could for instance, download the first half of a movie, and watch it, while the other half is downloading?

utorrent-> select torrent -> select files view -> right click file inside torrent -> assign priority high, normal or low to one/multiple files

if your download is just one big file theres an option to have it download the first bits first

Heh, no no no... i already know how to set priority to files. What I'm talking about is just say, 1 file alone thats.... ~800 megs... Is it possible for me to set it up to download, bit1 first, bit2, second, ... ... ... instead of downloading bit 74 first, then jump up to bit 316, and just have it go in a random order
It would probably take longer to download that way because it has to look for the next part to download instead of just picking whatever is available.

That would defeat the entire point of a torrent.

You guys have this all wrong.

Obviously none of you from your posts understand what the fuck a torrent even is or how it works.

You just know the new releases you can't afford at the theater and pr0n come out of it.

Torrents take bits and bytes from multiple users at the same time. Called Leeching.

You can't just download any portion you want.

You CAN however, go to you download directory, and

1. Copy the File

2. Take off the ".bc!" extension

3. Open with VLC Player or Media Player.
