You can't compare the wii to either the PS3 or the 360, mainly because the graphics arent up to par and Nintendo knows that. They're trying to reach to a completely difference market with their innovative playing.

 

 

Anyways, I chose PC. If I had to chose a console I'd chose Wii because its the only other console that I can't have the same experience on a PC with.

Ehm...there is non split screen multiplayer games too you know. And not everyone has a bunch of nerd friends to lan with nor the time nor is willing to put such an effort on it. Consoles are alot more casual.

 

As a side note; You can lan with an xbox/xbox360 aswell.

As you can see, one core = 2.7GHz when overclocked to its maximum speed, without glitches/atrifacts etc, it could go higher but it would need better cooling, and more than likely wouldnt be as stable

Basically, within applications that mulit-threading is enabled, the application uses the power of both cores.. which is basically 5.6Ghz..

2.7GHz x2 = 5.4Ghz + a an extra bit, i cant remember why but you just do..

 

Ok so i exaggerated.. but still. Its fast. Its a pity that not alot of games have multi-core support, such as source and the BF series.. Quake 4 does, but its fuckin shite.

IF you are interested in consoles, I have personally played the Wii and PS3 and I have to say I enjoyed the Wii LOADS more than the PS3. I have also played the 360, and I feel pretty much the same about it as I do the PS3. IMO the Wii is the way to go.

I like consoles more because its convenient when your with your friends to just pick up a controller and play, also because there is a larger choice of games.

 

PCs are capable of better graphics and gameplay but fewer and fewer games are coming out on them because there are many games that tons of people play on consoles whereas there are only a few that draw major audiences on the pc.

I like the convenience of being able to just pop a disc in my PS2 and not have to worry about EULA's and agreeing to all kinds of crap that you have to with PC. I like that I can buy a game and like 10 seconds after I open it and put it into my PS2 I can play it, without having to install........wait for a reboot sometimes........update to the latest patch........configure the display and sound and remap the keyboard........you get the point.

 

PC games are a hella fun yes but I tend to like the faster instant action nature of consoles. However I don't think consoles will be able to come close to a PC for 1st person shooter cuz cuz nothing beats mouse aiming. Especially my Logitech G7.

i have all 3 of the consoles and it is simple to say that 360 is the best of them all. Gears of war fucking tears it up. Usually i get bored of consoles anyways because they lack good online play(or did in the past) but the 360's live owns the shit out of ps3's online garbage
