November 24, 200618 yr Thanksgiving wasn't about the pilgrims. Thanksgiving was a celebration of the first harvest. The pilgrims thought "Hey, there are some Native Americans here, why don't we invite some of them to our feast because they helped us" BTW, they all got killed later anyway.
