Posted November 25, 200618 yr The development and planning division of myg0t administration has a been running a project for a month or so now under wraps using the codename 'CheaterX'. While the project won't go public for another 3-6 months, we are in need some graphic art and thought the talent on our forums would be as good a place as any to recruit the help. What's needed: Loading image/screen (dimensions don't really matter, let the work dictate it) 16x16 and 32x32 application icon's We would prefer but are open to other ideas, of the letter C with the letter X inside of it. This is your chance to have something you've created be a part of a long-term myg0t sponsored project, and if all goes well and we like what you've done, you very well will be asked to do some work for us in the future which may involve financial compensation. November 26, 200618 yr This is my region of expertise, so to speak, so I'll take a whack at this. When you say, "Loading image/screen", what exactly did you have in mind? I can make some pretty decent stuff, but it would help if I knew what you were really looking for. Were you looking for something grunge or vector or abstract? Any colors you had in mind?

November 26, 200618 yr Author I really like what you guys have posted so far. @Xerox.mp3: I like what you've done with the icon, pretty simple but looks good for an icon, why not see what you can come up with for the loading screen? @Spooned: I really like the effects and color scheme with your loading screen, but the 'Spooned' watermark type shit in the background would have to go, the Spooned tag in the bottom right is fine though. @d0wn: I like where you're going with it, but that needs a lot of work like you said. @XsatanX: By loading screen I mean something like Spooned has done, an image to display while the program initializes into memory, etc.. I don't really want anything too abstract but a mixture of grunge or vector type art would be fine. @Eseks: I really like where you went with it, the yellow on charcoal looks good, although there seems to be too much empty space. It's a little PCGameHack'ish for those of you that were around the scene back in 1999-2002, but I like that even if it was accidental. Keep coming with the ideas.

The watermark is just for the showcase, not the actual splash screen.

November 28, 200618 yr Author I forgot to mention this in my initial thread posting and I've already told Scr33n0r on IRC so here it is for everyone else, if you're going to have the 'CheaterX' name in your image along with the CX logo, then leave the letter X off the end of 'Cheater' so that you don't have the X twice. @AnalDisco: the icon is decent and the loading screen does need a lot more work, not bad for a first try though, better than I could do probably.
