i am currently working on a video rage and everything is going just fine, except i am barely halfway done getting some video with fraps and already i am using 12gb of hard drive space 0_o. Do you know of any good free software packages that i can use to compress the video into divx, wmv, or ogg?:thinker:

Just save your progress as a Movie file, and delete the excess crap. Then continue and repeat.

For simple stuff I use VirtualDub or MediaCoder.

 

Windows Movie Maker should work just fine for this sort of project, just adding my opinion.

use virtual dub and re-encode it as a divx or whatever

you can get any proggie you want if you know how to do it(drr), vegas video is really good for encoding files fast.

Getting fraps to work gives me no trouble, however, when I record video clips they go very, very slow.

 

Does my computer just suck ass or is there a way I can fix this problem? :D
