Give it time...;P....Im sure we havent seen eithers even CLOSE to full potential of either

but in those pics, 360

they're both the same. ps3s lighting looks a bit darker, and xbox's lighting has a bit more bloom.

oh and the ps3 isn't like 2x the price of xbox

PS3 beats 360 in NFS:Carbon because the lightning is done better

360 beats PS3 in COD3 for the same reason

Tie on Madden

Tie on Marvel (both suck dick, just like the game)

360 overdoes it with reflections on NBA2k7, PS3 is slightly below. The PS3 wins here because the goal is realism and a basketball court reflecting like a pool of water is not realistic.

PS3 has better lighting in Fight Night, 360 renders the crowd better.

PS3 outdoes 360 in Tony Hawk. You'd think that the initial shot of you stepping out of the garage would be more like the 360, but realistically if you go from a dark garage and open the door to a sunny day it will appear more like the PS3 has rendered than the 360.

PS3 has better lighting in Tiger Woods.

don't agree @ NFS because the cars look better on 360, which is more important imho.

Given how similar the two systems are, in the graphical department, it means the winner will be which one is more user friendly, has the better games and offers more playing value.

Obviously I can't pass a great deal of judgement on how the PS3 will do, but given how impressed I have been by the 360, the PS3 needs to a little bit more than have better shader effects.

i think ps3 owns 360 at nfs it just looks more realistic, the roads and all

360 OMFG PWNS ps3 at cod3 looks terrible on ps3 for some reason

the others xbox mostly won tho i hate to admit it

cept that boxing game i think ps3 looked cooler

the shots for ps3 are taken after, like when you see the tree it has sweet lighting but in the ps3 pic the car is more foward having the tree cover it making ps3 look worse
you cant compare price because if you noticed there is no next gen video format in the 360 (hd dvd or blu ray) Ps3 has a next gen dvd drive already ( add the hddvd drive and its the same price for the 360) The graphics do look better in the 360 but the lighting IMO goes to the Ps3.

Pic 1: PS3

2: PS3

3: 360

4 PS3

Call Of Duty

1-3: PS3

4: 460

Madden: Tie

Marvel: PS3

Theres barely any difference at all in the graphics..

It all just lighting effects...

the xbox is MURDDDDERING the light... pure overkill... but is ps3 murdering the light on the tony hawk.. look at the tony hawk coming out the of truck.... itsreally not that bright in real life where u cant see outside of the back due to so much glare

The effect is supposed to mimic going from a dark place to a very sunny place. The flare probably diminishes after about a second.

The entire article was biased in favor of the 360 for when the shots were taken.
