I was thinking of joining the army only to help me pay for college. I have an A B average. I just don't want to take a student loan because I might have to pay it of for 2 years. I plan on majoring in computer science. I still don't know wether I should join or not after hearing they are cutting off college funds into money towards Iraq.

well after watching the video, im kinda both ways in it.. im in the military now, in the air force though. and unfortunately, i feel for those guys that had to go over there and witness the dumb shit thats happening... but on the other hand, the armed forces isnt all the same, like most of those guys on there were either marines or army, aka, YOU ARE THE WAR! one guy was from the navy, but he wasnt explainin his role in the war, and u know y? because the navy and the air force SUPPORT THE WAR. i work on airplanes, i will NEVER SEE IRAQ OR AFGANISTAN, unless i volunteer to do a tcn duty or something like that. be smart about which branch u pick, because it can be a difference between supporting the war and being the war. thats my take on the whole situation.
