Posted December 22, 200618 yr that is a good movie, not a GREAT movie...not that its my job to decide these things, but i was high as shit when i watched that movie, but i remember it vividly since i kept trying to figure out wtf was going on with that movie. so, ok im watching it...its all bad ass up until he gets out of jail, and is a little ****** lover all of a sudden because he got raped in the asshole cry, whine, emo kid...so he knocks the shit out of his old cheif and then some other shit happens where the ****** kid shoots his little brother what the shit is that, black people suck dicks and beside, they are too cowardly to shoot a white person, plus all the gangsters in that movie looked so fake shit conclusion: Rape = Cure for racism. win/win?

SO: since the father was a racist firefighter who gets killed by blacks for no apparent reason while doing his job, the oldest son (played by norton) looked up to him and follows in the footsteps, but with the newtime trends and extremisms of these days he becomes a skinhead. now, the youngest son looks up to his brother so he follows in his footsteps. SO: then norton goes to jail, where he meets this black guy who befriends him later on and saves his ass from another pouding because of his influence with the inmates. SO: this opens lil miss racist-hard-headed-narrow-viewed-fatherless-skinhead-in-jails eyes that not all blacks are niggahs who rob plasmas. SO: after realizing this and that he might have gotten out of it before it actually became ultimately too late, he realizes that he must do the same for his lil chemo-z00mah-looking brother although its already too late (THE TOILET INCIDENT). SO: finally realizing that the old geezer skinhead nazi item collector leader uses kids hate for general things and somehow focuses them towards racism/hate crimes (yes, the geezer is doing that to the lil brother) he socks him one (which should have been his ultimate death had it not been an actual movie that required another 30 minutes of filmage) SO: after convincing the lil brother that its not the way to go (gj peer pressure) and reuniting the family together, boomshakalaka, the lil chemo guy gets a cap in his ass. (btw, in my opinion this should have made Norton go back to hating niggahs, but we all dont need a 4 hour long titanic doodilydilydee) THAT IS ALL, if you read this kudos to you; if you actually just now realized that movies have deeper plots like ive shown you...rifk...

December 25, 200618 yr i have a feeling no one in this thread actually understood the movie qft The movie wasn't about racism. Racism was just the medium used becuase it made the viewer see both sides of his struggle. Without using racism you wouldn't have had dislike (or maybe liking for some of you guys) for the character, and it wouldn't have given the base of his character, which gave a clear view into his family function and inner thoughs.. And without those thoughts on him it would have been much harder to see his change and understand it. Maybe thats why it seems so many people here missed the point of the film... you all LIKED him as a racist, so you didn't see how his problems became those of his family, and therfor didnt think he even needed to make the change, so you didn't see or understand the change he had to go through. The movie could have been made and displayed the exact same message without racism. Racism was just the easy and by far best way of showing the characters struggle, because it is something most of us have had to deal with at one time or another. The point of this film was far more about his internal struggle, and his search not only to solve it, but to solve it in a way that would best benifit and reunite his family at the same time, than it was about racism. Racism was just used as the visual 'fabric' to give the movie something tangable and personal to alomst all viewers. Shame it seems so many people here missed the point... they seem to me to be the ones most likly to benifit from it's message.
