Discovered on the 26'th of February, 2004.

 

This new exploit will lets anyone (reguardless of their connection speed) send a corrupted packet to the server casuing it to crash or boot all users off and restart.

 

I'm not the author nor the screator of this one but..

 

First,

 

The reason why I am releasing this to you, although I hate all you cheaters out there that ruin normal game play. I have to admit, that after the threats I have read on the authors page sent by Gamespy, I've come to the conclusion that they desserve whats coming for them..

 

Ok, now for more info,,..

 

This exploit not only works for BF1942 and it's mods but also these following games,.. "Battlefield 1942, Contract Jack, Gore, Haegemonia, Halo, Hidden & Dangerous 2, IGI 2: Covert Strike, Judge Dredd: Dredd vs. Death, Need For Speed Hot Pursuit 2, Terminator 3: War of the Machines, TRON 2.0 " and possibly others.

it's simple, extract gshboom.exe in your desktop.

 

run notepad and type these two lines in:

 

gshboom.exe game_server_ip_goes_here 23000

pause

 

now save it as crashthatbi0tch.bat onto your desktop and execute it to crash that game server. (note the more you use it the more patched admins will make their servers, meaning better gameplay for your mom and dad) Ok, note that 23000 applies to the port that BF1942 games use to communicate with gamespy associated queries. These are the ports for other games as stated from the info gathered out of gshboom.exe. right click the .bat file and hit edit to change ip or port and save to reuse it. HaVe Fun! :coold:
