Posted December 24, 200618 yr I've been keeping tabs on these for some friends that run some other gaming sites, and I've never seen this posted here before so I thought I'd share the nerdy wealth. http://speeddemosarchive.com/ This is a collection of videos taken by people to break time records for beating games or levels in games, and holy shit do some of these kids have skills. I've been a gamer for around 20 odd years and even I've never seen some of the routes these guys take to beat a game. In case you're a lazy fuck, here's the direct link to the list of all games they have videos of, and yes, if you think you're the shit in mario brothers, the 5 minute run will make you shit your pants. http://speeddemosarchive.com/gamelist/FullList.html

Yea, a few of my friends submitted our displeasure at a guy doing a mario2 for gameboy speedrun and using a turbo controller. They took it down and he had to redo it and lost like 2 minutes cause he couldn't fly as far with the rabbit ears. I was like, lolololol pwned.

I guess it could be said that Tool assisted speed runs (TASR hear on out) suck when not expected. If you know they are, you get to see some interesting glitches in games. That's always a plus.

I don't mind the people that mention the way they do it but to lie and act like you're the shit when you need help to achieve it is gay.
