Merry Christmas BF2142'ers! Since the last patch didn't fix this, we here at myg0t have decided to pub it! Enjoy, and have a rage-filled holiday!

 

1. Open "my documents\battlefield 2142\profiles\global.con" with notepad

2. Change the line that says GlobalSettings.setNamePrefix to:

GlobalSettings.setNamePrefix "§3|C001"

3. Run 2142 normally, when choosing a soldier do not edit the clantag from within 2142. If you don't see the pipe ( | ), thats normal.

4. Rage; See attached image;

Alternatively, you can do

GlobalSettings.setNamePrefix "§3"

for just big text,

 

or

GlobalSettings.setNamePrefix "|C001"

for just orange text.

I tried the same code in the global.con file for BF2 and it didn't worked, tried changing it to read only too, I'm not sure why it didn't work.
