1) The file extension for an iPod game is .ipg.

2) You can open an iPod game with WinRAR, it is several files compressed together.

3) When you open the iPod game file with WinRAR, the file "iTunesMetaData" contains the account e-mail address.

4) When you open the iPod game file with WinRAR, under the directory "Executables", the .bin.sinf file contains the person's name who purchased the game.

5) The games are stored under the iPod_Control\Games_RO folder on your iPod.

6) The game has to be put under a folder named the hex number of the game. This number can be located in the manifest.plist. Hex numbers for the folders:

12345 - Vortex

33333 - Texas Hold 'Em

44444 - Zuma

55555 - Bejeweled

66666 - Tetris

77777 - Mahjong

88888 - Mini Golf

99999 - Cubis 2

AAAAA - Pac-Man

50513 - Sudoku

50514 - Royal Solitaire

In the sinf file, the from offset 472-end of file contains some information (about your iPod/computer?) and a list of games you have purchased prior to when you purchased that game.

All that needs to be done to pirate an iPod game (making playable) is decoding the last bit of info in the sinf file. (Offset 472-E.O.F.)

Anyone good at decoding?

here's some ways to put games on your ipod. I tried them out and they work flawlessly.
