It doesn't really matter to the black community because there's no damn reason to care about it. People who care about it, saying whites can't or shouldn't take from our culture are reverse discriminators. We believe in the saying "Do as you please". I was born in a ghetto, I've seen what goes on, and trust me, a lot of people do dumb shit because they just don't give a fuck. Seeing it all first hand, people in ghettos, projects, or whatever you want to call them do things because either one of 3 things: 1.) They don't care. 2.) They don't have the money to do pretty much anything else, whether they dropped out of high school or what not. 3.) They're bored as hell and don't have anything better to do with their damn lives. And there's many of us who think the Gangsta Rap culture is extremely bullshit and hate it because it glorifies living in the ghetto and/or violence and drugs. All those who try to live like that are dumbasses and ignorant themselves, who are as well hated in our community. What I wonder is why is everything always associated with races? Everybody does some type or form of drugs, commits dumb ass or serious crimes, have a bunch of ignorant people in their community/race, and have some kind of history amongst their race or community in which they might not be proud of. I have no social life so I'm usually on. San Diego ftw, how bout them Chargers? My school has a veep program where they bus in people from different parts of the city who are of different ethnicities. Most of them hang out with other kids from their neigborhoods which is understandable, most of the ones i talk to seem to have worse grades and get into trouble more then the white kids at my school, just an observation.
