He was hanged for killing 148 people in a town where some assassins tried to kill him. (guess he couln't know how did it, so he probably killed all the adult males, or any one matching the description) But over all who knows how many people he had killed... His gassing the kurds killed I think over 6,000 at that one time alone. EDIT : Timothy McVeigh was the oklahoma bomber.
