I agree with Jon on this. It's simple enough, when that one is made a 0, then it's a zero, if there was some way to tell it was a 1 before, the hard drive didn't write the bit correctly and has serious issues.

 

Just like Jon said, the FBI can't go back in time to unzero it.

Use HDD killer, they'll never be able to get any information from it. And any programs that set all sectors to 000000 on the hdd will get rid of ay data. Its not recoverable after. no matter what.

No I had just installed Windows 95 like 2 weeks prior and I invited a friend over and he got on and in like two minutes he crashed it. I tried reformating and reinstalling but it would get to the starting windows screen and lock up every time.

 

So I went back to 3.11
