Posted January 11, 200718 yr The 187ci aimbot cheat is no longer PunkBuster proof, but the you only get a kick from the game and no ban at this time. B_HUD-3D_2142_v1.0 is still PunkBuster proof, yes it has no aimbot, but it is one hell of a cheat. Simplehack is also busted by PunkBuster with no ban only a kick. Fact is 2142 has not taken off as fast. With only 500 to 600 severs and half being empty I do not see Electronic Arts letting PunkBuster put any GUI or HW bans on cheaters.

January 14, 200718 yr This is a general update from Punkbuster applied to all of their games (edit: running the bf engine) which basically just searches more carefully for modified memory. That's why you're not getting banned. There's no way for them to determine whether it's an actual CHEAT, or just one of those edited .con files. All they know is something has been modified. -P

January 15, 200718 yr r4iney;431177']B_HUD-3D_2142_v1.0 oh right, ive just started to notice the message that comes up. also some servers (i noticed in some of the EA NL servers) thats it comes up with a msg that says This server doesnt allow modded versions of BF2142 or something like that. I guess this hack is practically a no go now. I noticed though aslong as you dont use the mem hacks (F1) then yuou dont get kicked. I mainly just use the no fog and character chams (when theres campers at the titan). I am looking for an aimbot but im guessing most of these have been detected.
