Posted January 11, 200718 yr Im upgrading a few things soon, and the first thing im going to buy is a new Power Supply. Now i know NOTHING at all about PSU's so i need a little help picking one out. My limit is 75$ (just because my current one cost 40$ and has lasted over 2 years) My specs: AMD 3500 (upgrading soon) 1gb cosair value select (upgrading soon) Abit AN8 32x XFX 7900gt (might be getting a 2nd for SLI, not for sure though) 1 dvd rom drive 1 dvd burner 3 120mm led fans 1 80mm fan 1 VGA cooler Soon im adding an internal floppy drive also. I think thats it. My current PSU is a 500 watt aspire. Not sure if there is anything else you need to know. Id like it from http://www.newegg.com just because they're cheaper and i have a credit card with them so i dont have to pay all at once. Thanks for any help/suggestions.
January 12, 200718 yr why are you getting a new power supply? did your old one die? if it did and you are short on money, just go rip one outta an old box some wear.
