Posted January 15, 200718 yr I figured out how to hack up multiplayer mode in the new game Sid Meier's Railroads http://www.2kgames.com/railroads/railroads.html The game can be downloaded (torrent) and played online for free, it doesn't even use a serial. I trust you know where to look. ;) To hack multiplayer, basically you extract & overwrite the XML files in this directory: \Documents and Settings\[YOUR_USRNAME]\Local Settings\Application Data\My Games\Sid Meier's Railroads!\MPTransfer with the contents of this rar file: http://rapidshare.com/files/11765207/railroads.mptransfer.mod.v1.10.01.rar.html and then make the new files Read-Only. Basically my example mod greatly reduces or almost removes all costs, gives you a crapload of money for deliveries, and unlocks and super-charges all trains for any year. There's a ton more stuff that could be done, but you get the general idea - i'll let you be creative. Lastly, you can only join a server with the files modified and read-only, if you try to host one it will crash. but raging someone else's server usually causes the most rage anyways, so it's all good. To return to normal, just un read-only the files. enjoy :gaysex: p.s. you can enter custom text that will appear on a newspaper on your opponent's screen when you buy them out. as seen in my mini-rage... January 15, 200718 yr Author be sure to patch to v1.10 first. there's a No-DVD on gamecopyworld, and a +3 trainer for single player by yours truely.
